Welcome to the page of “the good stuff”.

I am a sixth grade Language Arts teacher in Alamance County. My husband, Shawn, and I are originally from Pennsylvania, but have adjusted well to the warm weather and southern hospitality. We live in Mebane with our two dogs, Dublyn & Riley, and our cat, Quincy.

I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English Education. I taught 10th-12th grades in Maryland for a year and I now teach 6th grade in Alamance County. I thoroughly enjoy the work of sharing the violin and teaching others, watching their minds open and bend around new ideas and watching the “light bulb” burn into a forest fire. That's why violin lessons are perfect for me; combining one love with another to create an irreplaceable passion.
