I began studying violin at the age of nine in Butler, Pennsylvania, my hometown. I toyed with the piano, thought about the clarinet and embraced the violin. I studied under instructors until the age of 16, when I became an instructor myself.

Throughout my music career, I have had many challenging opportunities. I have served as concertmistress of many orchestras, led the Butler County String Symphonette and Butler County Strolling Strings through competitions, concerts and recitals, and I have participated in numerous Side-by-Side competitions, District and Regional Orchestra competitions and wedding ceremonies.

The most important credential that you should take with you is that I love the violin. It is not a chore, it is not one more thing to do, it is the fostering of a passion, of a desire, and of a need to express myself through music.
